Regular Classes

Our regular classes offer structured instruction in the traditional and contemporary styles of Ikenobo, including:

• Jiyuka (Free Style)

• Shoka

• Rikka

• Seasonal and contemporary floral designs

Students receive hands-on guidance while learning the philosophy, techniques, and aesthetics that make Ikenobo unique. Each class encourages creativity while deepening an appreciation for nature and Japanese culture. Classes are counted to the Ikenobo Diploma/Certification credits.

Workshops

Our workshops are designed for anyone who would like to experience ikebana in a relaxed and inspiring setting. Perfect for beginners, garden clubs, cultural organizations, schools, and community groups, workshops include:

• Seasonal Ikebana Arrangements

• Japanese Cultural Experiences

• Holiday Floral Designs with festive luncheon option

• Introduction to Ikenobo Ikebana

• Special Theme Workshops with luncheon option

• Ikebana workshop/program for youngsters and schools (Elementary, Middle, High School, College)

No prior experience is required. Materials and containers may be provided depending on the workshop.
